1. Will there be a new CMP application?

A: YES. We anticipate that the NEW CMP application will be released on 10/6/2025 with the other CMPRP resources on the CMS website.

2. Can we still submit an application using the old form?

A. Effective 11/12/2025, CMS will not accept old forms. Since it takes on average 60+ days to review an application at the State Agency level before submission to CMS, it is recommended that you wait and submit your application using the NEW CMP application.

3. How is the government shutdown affecting the CMPRP?

A. The CMPRP is not affected by the government shutdown in North Carolina. We will continue to receive and review CMP applications.
